Corrections to misinformation

A significant amount of misinformation regularly circulates in the public domain about the Commission and its operations. We cannot correct everything, usually for operational reasons, and to protect the integrity of our investigations and avoid unfair damage to reputations. However, we want the public to have access to accurate information and so, when appropriate, we will update as necessary a new section of the Commission’s website - Corrections to misinformation. Each entry identifies the misinformation, and corrects it with facts and evidence.
